Our studio is a thoughtfully crafted space, with hand-picked props and access to a client closet for wardrobe styling. Whether in the studio or outdoors, every session is created to reflect the magic and joy of childhood.
Where it all began...
Little Folk Story was inspired by a desire to preserve childhood in a way that feels genuine. It began with one little girl, captured year after year by her mother’s lens. As the seasons changed and she grew, each photograph became a piece of a larger story, one filled with imagination, tenderness, and a deeper connection to who she truly was.
That inspiration grew into a boutique studio experience for other families. Little Folk Story was created so parents could relive these meaningful years through thoughtfully styled, heirloom-quality portraits.
My daughter, my muse.
I have photographed families, weddings, births, and celebrations, preserving milestones that deserve to be remembered. But the images closest to my heart are the ones I took of my daughter. Styled with care and shaped by her imagination, those portraits felt different. They were guided by who she was in each season, whether playful, thoughtful, curious, or bold.
They reminded me that childhood moves quickly, but the spirit of who they are in that moment is something worth holding onto.
I created Little Folk Story to offer that same experience to other families. A space where children are seen as they are and where portraits reflect their personality, their wonder, and their story.
