Little Folk Story is a boutique photography studio in Winter Park offering heirloom-quality artwork for your home. It is a place where childhood moments are captured and turned into cherished keepsakes. Each session is thoughtfully designed to create portraits that become lasting heirlooms of your favorite little people.
Located in the heart of Winter Park, our studio is a thoughtfully designed creative space. The space includes carefully selected props and you will have access to a client closet for wardrobe selection, allowing each session to be styled beautifully. Whether indoors or in a chosen outdoor location, every setting is intentionally created to capture the magic and joy of childhood.
How it all began...
Little Folk Story was founded by me, Joanna Moore, and was born from a personal place. I have been a professional photographer for many years, primarily capturing weddings and families for my brand Joanna Moore Photography. Photography had always been a part of my life, but when my daughter, Kiley, came into the world, it became something more. I wanted to preserve her fleeting childhood in a way that felt magical, turning simple moments into art. That passion led me to create Joanna Moore Photography, where I have spent years documenting wedding celebrations, and family milestones. While I loved capturing these moments, I always felt a longing to return to the magic of childhood photography. Over time, I realized how much I missed the innocence and wonder of childhood photography. This longing led to the creation of Little Folk Story, a boutique studio where parents can relive the beauty of their child's fleeting moments through timeless, heirloom-quality portraits.

It didn’t take long for me to take the leap into professional photography, and with that, Joanna Moore Photography was born. I loved the idea of capturing meaningful moments for people, creating something they could hold onto forever.
Over the years, I have photographed families, weddings, births, and celebrations, preserving milestones that deserve to be remembered. But the images closest to my heart are the ones of my daughter, dressed in sweet outfits and placed in settings that felt like a storybook. They remind me of just how fleeting childhood is.
I want other parents to have that same feeling, seeing their child in a beautifully styled, timeless portrait that captures the wonder of who they are right now.
That is why I created Little Folk Story.
